What is a Plug-in Hybrid?

It offers many standard amenities, including a 12.3-inch gauge cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and many advanced driver aids. It also boasts higher propulsion than most class competitors.
The Hornet GT and GT Plus get a 2.0-liter turbo-four with 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. However, both R/T trims upgrade to the automaker's first-ever plug-in hybrid, boosting output to 288 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. A 12.0-kWh battery helps the Hornet PHEV achieve an EPA-estimated 77 MPGe and 33 miles of electric-only range.1
